The Territory is further divided geographically into nine divisions, each headed by a Divisional Commander.
The corps is the basic service unit of the Army, providing religious and social service programs to those in need.
Territorial Headquarters (THQ) is responsible for the operations within the Territory, providing legal and financial assistance and managing the corporate Army assets of the Territory. The Territory administers all Territorial corporations, assigns and provides training for the officers, interprets and enforces the rules and regulations of the Army, and enforces a standard for quality performance by divisional leaders and their personnel.
Services overseen by THQ include the corps community centers, social services, adult rehabilitation centers, emergency disaster services, hospital and maternity home records ministry, missing persons services, youth programs, older adult ministries, the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Centers, housing, human trafficking, correctional services and sponsoring children overseas.
The Territorial Commander is supported by the Chief Secretary, the Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, the Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, the Assistants to the Chief Secretary, The Secretarial Appointments in Personnel, Program and Business Administration as well as all the support office directors essential to the proper functioning of the Territory.
The Training Principal of the College for Office Training works closely with key staff at Territorial Headquarters and has a formal reporting relationship to the Chief Secretary. The Territorial staff is frequently used in teaching, committee service, or informational capacity to cadets and officers.
