Principal's Message - Fall 2010
Cadets Arrive at CFOT!
What a year this promises to be here at the College for Officer
Training! We have the highest enrollment in many, many years with
92 cadets and 73 children. The chapel is full, the classrooms are
full, our Family Care Center is full and our Dining Room is full.
All this is really quite wonderful even though the logistics that
are presented by such a crowd will certainly propose some challenges.
Why wonderful you may ask? Wonderful because it is evidence that
God is still calling men and women to this unique ministry in The
Salvation Army. Wonderful because people are still listening and
responding to the call of God. And wonderful that there will soon
be more trained workers to cultivate the fields of ministry throughout
the Western Territory.
Each session is given a special name by the General. This new group
of cadets has the name “Friends of Christ”. We welcome
the Friends of Christ and wonder just how many more people out there
have been called by God to be officers in The Salvation Army. Is
it possible that next year at this time I will be writing about 150
cadets? Only God knows and we know that with God “nothing is
impossible”.
Blessings!

Training Principal
