Principal's Message - Winter 2011- 2012

The Three “I’s”

The New Year is upon us and with that we begin to naturally think of new beginnings. Starting over and moving forward. 2012 awaits us with an empty slate, waiting to be drawn upon by the handiwork of our lives.

I have been quietly casting a vision with both staff and cadets this past fall of what I am calling “the three I’s”:

  • Imagination
  • Innovation
  • Inspiration

The heart of the spirit of Salvationism lies in the very foundation of these thoughts. The founder of The Salvation Army, William Booth, was certainly an individual who embodied these traits as he moved forward with his passion of winning the lost souls to Christ.

Daring to dream. Doing what it takes to make the dream come true and a connection to the source of power to make it happen.

These are great days on the campus of Crestmont. God is moving in our midst. We look forward to a wonderful new year loaded with opportunities to learn, to serve, and to make a positive difference in a world that needs all the help it can get.

Please pray for our cadets and staff as we continue proclaiming the message of new life through a living and vital relationship with Jesus Christ.

Blessings!
