Scheduling:  Doubles Matches on Friday will be in the evening only, beginning at 6:30 pm, if necessary.  Doubles Matches on Saturday and Sunday will begin at 8:00 am.

Notification:  Draws and match times will be posted at Peninsula Racquet Club and posted on this website on Wednesday, March 2, 2011.  You may also call Peninsula Racquet Club directly at:  (310) 541-2523 anytime on or after Wednesday, March 2, 2011 for your match time.

Optional Sites:  Players may be sent to play their matches at Palos Verdes Tennis Club and/or The Jack Kramer Club if necessary.

Default:  A 15 minute default time will be strictly enforced.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Dress Code:  Proper tennis attire is required.  No tank tops for men or aerobic wear.  No jog bras, midriff exposing tops, or spandex leggings/shorts for women.  No black soled running shoes.

Refunds:  No refunds will be given after Friday, February 25, 2011.

In Case Of Rain:  Contact the tournament desk at (310) 541-2523 for starting time updates.  No refunds for rain outs.  Tournament play will be rescheduled when the weather conditions permit.

Awards:  Awards will be presented to winners and finalists immediately after the final match is over on Sunday, March 6, 2011.

Rules:  Open division will be regular scoring, 2 out of 3 sets, with a 12 point tie breaker at 6 all.  In all other divisions, matches will be 2 out of 3 sets, NO-AD scoring until the finals.  At the finals, regular scoring will apply.  USTA and SCTA rules will govern play.  USTA point penalty system will be enforced.  All Junior players must play in the Open Division.

Prize Money In Open Division:  Up to $5,000 depending on size of draw.

Please Note:  The tournament committee reserves the right to re-classify players.

Player "Perks":   All player participants of this event receive complimentary continental breakfast and barbeque lunch, complimentary sports stretching and massage by certified Chiropractors and Massage Therapists (Saturday and Sunday only), an event t-shirt and a goodie bag filled with useful tennis items, snacks and fresh fruit (Saturday only).

Special "Stay & Play" Hotel Accommodations:   Accommodations for player participants for this event have been arranged at the beautiful Richard E. Holz Conference Center located on The Salvation Army College campus directly next door to the Peninsula Racquet Club.

The Richard E. Holz Conference Center has "Bed & Breakfast" style accommodations with private rooms and your choice of a queen bed or two twin beds. We are located only steps away from Peninsula Racquet Club.

A block of rooms have been set aside for the weekend of the Annual Crestmont Classic Doubles Tennis Tournament. This special package includes:

• Two night stay for only $75.00 (Friday & Saturday nights) per room, double or single occupancy.
  (Regularly rooms are $75.00 per night - regular rates apply for additional nights).

• Complimentary Breakfast Basket filled with breakfast goodies and fresh fruit.

All rooms come complete with: Cable television, coffee maker with coffee, tea and hot chocolate, telephone, Ethernet access, fresh towels and bed linens, iron and ironing board.

Please Note: Crestmont is a non-smoking and alcohol free campus. We ask that all our guests comply with these rules while staying with us. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
