Player Information
Entry Fees:
Open - $75 Per Team
All Others - $50 Per Team

Scheduling:  Doubles Matches on Friday, March 7th will be in the evening only, beginning at 6:30 pm, if necessary.  Doubles Matches on Saturday and Sunday, March 8th and 9th, will begin at 8:00 am.

Notification:  Draws and match times will be posted at Peninsula Racquet Club and posted on this website on Wednesday, February 27, 2008.  You may also call Peninsula Racquet Club directly at:  (310) 541-2523 anytime on or after Wednesday, February 27, 2008 for your match time.

Default:  A 15 minute default time will be strictly enforced.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Event Limit:  All divisions will be limited to a maximum of 32 teams and a minimum of 8 teams.

Dress Code:  Proper tennis attire is required.  No tank tops for men or aerobic wear.  No jog bras, midriff exposing tops, or spandex leggings/shorts for women.  No black soled running shoes.

Refunds:  No refunds will be given after Friday, February 29, 2008.

In Case Of Rain:  Contact the tournament desk at (310) 541-2523 for starting time updates.  No refunds for rainouts.  Tournament play will be rescheduled when the weather conditions permit.

Awards:  Awards will be presented to winners and finalists immediately after the final match is over on Sunday, March 9, 2008.

Rules:  Open division will be regular scoring, 2 out of 3 sets, with a 12 point tie breaker at 6 all.  In all other divisions, matches will be 2 out of 3 sets, NO-AD scoring until the finals.  At the finals, regular scoring will apply.  USTA and SCTA rules will govern play.

Prize Money In Open Division:  Up to $5,000 depending on size of draw.

Please Note:  The tournament committee reserves the right to re-classify players.
