The annual Silver Star Banquet is held to honor the parents and support givers of graduating Cadets as they move forward to become commissioned officers.  This special luncheon was hosted by Commissioners Philip and Patricia Swyers, Commissioners James and Ruth Osborne, Colonels William and Susan Harfoot and Majors Stephen and Marcia Smith.  Led by Mr. Duncan Sutton, the Cadets sang "I Can Go To God In Prayer" with solo performances by Cadet Marjorie Miller, Cadet Peter Pemberton, Cadet Jillian O'Brien and Cadet Willie Bland.  Commissioner Ruth Osborne gave a memorable speech to the guests and Cadet Clarissa Ochoa gave the Cadet's Tribute.  The Silver Star plaques were given to parents and support givers who were present and beautiful white roses were given to Cadets whose parents are no longer with us.  The banquet always serves a wonderful meal that is enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
